- Don’t bag big items or items with handles like gallon milk jugs, cases of soda, large detergent bottles and others.
- Avoid double bagging.
- Reuse your bags at home.
- Ask your local store to support recycling by both participating in a recycling take back program like Bag-2-Bag and providing bags with at least 25% recycled content like our Gray is the New Green bag.
- Always try to put one extra item in your bag to help reduce your plastic footprint.
- If you are purchasing one or two items ask yourself, “Do I really need a bag?”
